Conditions of Sale and Safety Information

By purchasing a ticket and entering the festival site you agree to the following:

  1. You consent to being filmed, photographed and audio recorded as a member of the audience and to the use, reproduction, storage and broadcasting of such film and recording (including copies made) by us or our representatives.
  2. In the event of circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to alter the programme.
  3. The Smoking Health Social Care (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Prohibition of Smoking in Certain Premises (Scotland) Regulations 2006 make it an offence for anyone to smoke within covered areas. In the interests of everyone’s health and safety, these regulations will be rigidly enforced. Any ticket holder not adhering to this policy will be ejected from the site without refund.
  4. Speyfest Association reserves the right to refuse admission to the festival or to eject ticket holders in all reasonable circumstances without refund. Any ticket holder acting in a manner likely to endanger themselves or others, or who appears to be under the influence of drink or drugs, or is acting aggressively shall be ejected from the festival site without refund.
  5. Speyfest Association accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen property.
  6. Security officials and police officers have the right to search ticket holders and their personal property, and to refuse admission, or eject from the site, any ticket holder who refuses such a request.
  7. Entry to the festival site and associated events will be by wearing a wristband. Wristbands which have been removed or tampered with will automatically become void and anyone in possession of such a wristband shall be ejected from the festival. Re-entry to the event shall be prohibited.
  8. Persons who are or may, in our opinion, appear to be under the age of 21 shall be required to provide proof of age which shall include a photograph and the date of birth of the ticket holder. A further bar pass wristband shall be issued to such a person and should be displayed when purchasing alcohol. The same conditions as clause 7, above, shall apply to the bearer of the bar pass bands.
  9. Persons under 18 may not purchase or consume alcohol at the festival. It is an offence under the Licencing Act to purchase alcohol for the consumption by underage persons.
  10. No animals, with the exception of Registered Assistance Dogs, will be admitted to the Festival site.
  11. For the comfort and safety of all, persons are prohibited from carrying others on their shoulders at any time on the festival site.
  12. A copy of the SPEYFEST Terms and Conditions, shall be clearly displayed at the point-of-entry and at various key on-site locations, as a reminder for festival attendees.
  13. Food and drink Vendors and our bar are provided for your convenience. Take away foods or drinks, including alcohol, may not be brought onto or consumed on site. Snack items will be permitted during Sunday.
  14. In the interests of Safety and Security, all festival attendees shall follow the instructions of Security Personnel, Police Officers and members of the Speyfest Committee.
  15. PRIVACY POLICY – We do not share customer details with any 3rd parties.

NB: Tickets for 16 years and under must be purchased with adult tickets and must be accompanied by a responsible adult (Over 18).

Adult under 21 also require a Bar pass band on entry. ID may be checked for Eligibility.

No Exchanges or refunds. All prices are subject to local agent booking fees.

Important Information

For the duration of the event, the festival site is a licensed area. It is therefore an offence to bring alcohol for consumption onto the festival site. Bar facilities are provided and only alcohol purchased from the festival bar may be consumed on the site.

Certain festival activities are outdoors. It is your responsibility to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. For your comfort and safety, please co-operate with the security officials and festival stewards.

WARNING – Loud music can damage your hearing. Strobe lighting may be used at events.

Alcohol purchased from the festival bar may be consumed on the site. Persons bringing alcohol on to the site or consuming alcohol not purchased on site shall be ejected from the festival. Re-entry to the festival shall be prohibited.
