Hailing from the Island of Vatersay, the most southerly populated isle of the Outer Hebrides with a rising population of under 100, the Vatersay Boys are well and truly established in the Celtic and Gaidhealtachd music scene. This high-spirited band from the heart of Gaeldom, fronted by Michael Campbell of Vatersay (accordion) and Donnie MacNeil of Barra (drums) has gathered a huge fan-base for their rough, raw, no nonsense style of dance music which has seen them create a stir of madness and mayhem throughout the Western Isles and playing to sell-out crowds in the Barrowlands in Glasgow.
