Cruachan is a five-piece traditional band whose roots lie in the North-East of Scotland. The band takes a contemporary approach to traditional Scottish music as well as performing modern tunes from across the country. The line-up features 3 fiddles, piano and guitar. Cruachan formed just before Speyfest 2006 and featured in the festival club. Since then the band has made a number of main stage appearances and played at events and ceilidhs throughout the North-East.
