Building on the success of these more intimate concerts at previous Speyfests, we're delighted to welcome Brian McNeill with his audio/visual presentation, Back O' The North Wind to open the 2011 festival. Using five instruments and hundreds of pictures projected onto a screen, Brian brings together music, story and visual image to tell the tale of six Scots who emigrated, over the last two hundred and fifty years, to North America. The characters involved are; Alexander Stewart; Flora McDonald; John Muir; Ewen Gillies; Andrew Carnegie; James McNeill.
