The opening band at this year's Friday Concert is widely regarded as one of the best live acts to have emerged from the Scottish folk scene in recent years. From their foot-stomping reels to their heartwarming delivery of songs, there can be no doubt why Breabach has become a household name for many on the folk and roots music scene. Award nominations have been heaped on this band and Braebach are definitely not to be missed!

We're delighted to welcome Eddi Reader back to Speyfest, three years on from her debut sell-out appearance in 2008. Although she shot to fame with the hugely popular Fairground Attraction, Eddi's solo career has been no less successful and her most recent works including the outstanding arrangements of the songs of Robert Burns brought much acclaim...not to mention an award or two. Two different sounds in what will be one great show!
