Speyfest 2012
At the end of July the Playing Fields on East Street in the Moray town of Fochabers will be home to the annual Speyfest weekend. In its 17th year, Speyfest is one of the longest running music festivals in Scotland, of its kind. Organisation of the event is in full swing and details of the 2012 programme will be published soon.
Once again this year's festival will be a mix of seated concerts and standing gigs. The line-up will feature some of the biggest names from the world of Scottish music, alongside acts from other areas of the globe. All the events will be "undercover" and the festival site will be fully licensed, offering a wide range of refreshments in the Beer Tent as well as hot food from a number of on-site concessions.
