Speyfest - Conditions of Sale and Safety Information

Purchase of a ticket and entry to the festival site signify your agreement to the following:

  1. You consent to filming, photography and sound recording as members of the audience and to the use, reproduction, storage and broadcasting of such film and recording (including copies made) by us or our representatives.
  2. In the event of circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to alter the programme.
  3. The Smoking Health and Social Care (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Prohibition of Smoking in Certain Premises (Scotland) Regulations 2006 make it an offence for anyone to smoke within covered areas. In the interests of everyone's health and safety, these regulations will be rigidly enforced. Any ticket holder not adhering to this policy will be ejected from the site without refund.
  4. We reserve the right to refuse admission or to eject ticket holders in all reasonable circumstance without refund. In particular, any ticket holder acting in a manner likely to endanger themselves or others (for example where the ticket holder appears to be under the influence of drink and/or drugs, or is acting aggressively) shall be ejected from the festival site without refund.
  5. We accept no responsibility for lost or stolen property.
  6. Security officials and police officers will have the right to request ticket holders and /or the personal property of ticket holders to be searched and to refuse admission or eject from the site any ticket holder who refuses such a request.
  7. Entry to certain events will be by wearing festival wristbands. Removed wristbands will automatically become void and re-entry to the event prohibited.
  8. We reserve the right to request proof of age from any ticket holder who appears to be under the age of 21. Such proof must include a photograph and state the date of birth of the ticket holder.

Friday and Saturday night Ceilidh & Stomps

  1. All ticket holders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Important information

For the duration of the event the festival site is a licensed area. It is therefore an offence to bring alcohol for consumption onto the festival site. Bar facilities are provided and only alcohol purchased from the festival bar may be consumed on the site.

Certain festival facilities are outdoors. It is your responsibility to wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

For your comfort and safety, please co-operate with the security officials and festival stewards.
