Speyfest Craft and Food Fair

Just a reminder that bookings are being taken for our Saturday Craft and Food Fair.

The Speyfest Committee would like to invite crafters to present their craft work at our Craft Fair on Saturday 29th July 2017. Our aim is to provide a venue for crafters to show and sell their work. Therefore we request that at least 80% of the work is handmade.
The 2016 Craft & Food Fair was very successful, receiving positive feedback from fellow crafters and the general public about the quality and range of crafts that were exhibited.
We would like to invite crafters from last year and previous years and ask if you can let others know.
Again, outside spaces may be available upon request, please contact me if this is of interest to you.
Booking Form and application form can be found under Get Involved

Speyfest 2017

Our plans for the 22nd Speyfest are well underway.

Already a stunning line-up of bands have signed up for the 2017 festival. These include Speyfest favourites the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and crowd pleasers Blazin Fiddles. Also making a return visit will be Manran who were particular favourites of Ewan McGregor when he made a surprise visit to the festival in 2012 and Elephant Sessions who wooed the crowds on their last appearance. Making their Speyfest debut are Talisk and Tide Lines.

Red Hot Chilli Pipers – “We can’t wait to get back to Speyfest in 2017 as it always has been one of the highlights of our year. You cannot beat a home crowd in that amazing setting. Our new show is so hot it carries its own health warning so we just can’t wait to bring it to Speyfest!”

The past few years have seen a number of new festival events including cookery demonstrations and a variety of drinks tastings. The gin tastings were extremely popular at the 2016 festival. 2017 will see the introduction of a ‘Celtic meets Country’ showcase and also a stunning young group from East Tennessee State University led by Dr. Jane MacMorran and her son Will both of whom who have appeared at Speyfest in the past. They will be part of a youth showcase.
