Thank you to everyone who attended our Glen Moray Nibbles and Gin Tastic Tasting events at the weekend. A huge thank you to all our event sponsors who allowed this to happen.

As promised here is a summary of what you had!

Glen Moray Nibbles

  • Glen Moray Classic served with Glen Moray smoked salmon on brown bread
  • Glen Moray 12 year old served with Pork Pies from Murdoch Brothers of Forres
  • Glen Moray Port Cask served with Dunlop Cheese
  • Glen Moray Sherry Cask served with Gouda Cheese
    • Cheese from Highland Connage Dairy
    • Sweet Pickle Chutney from Baxters
  • Cask Strength served with Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream

Gin Tastic Tasting

  • Rock Rose Summer Edition Gin served with either Borage Flowers or Thyme
  • El-Gin with Raspberry
  • Caorunn Cocktail – Goodness Rose
    • 2 BTS of Caorunn, 4 cartons of pink grapefruit juice, Orange bitters, Grenadine, Top up with cloudy lemonade.
  • Inshriach 43 Proof with Lemon
  • Inshriach 57 Proof with Pink Grapefruit
  • Tyree Gin with lime
  • Walter Gregor Tonic served with all Gin’s apart from Cocktail

A final Speyfest Cheers to all our Gin Producers, Glen Moray and presenters Emma from Glen Moray, Tanya from El-Gin and Emma from Caorunn.

Speyfest Ticket Office

You will be able to buy your tickets in person from Wednesday 5th July from our ticket office located at Fochabers Institute.

Opening Wed to Sat 5 to 7 p.m.

Extended hours will be announced for festival week.

Speyfest Gin Tastic Tasting

We have another Gin Tastic Tasting in store for you again this year. A chance to meet the “maker” during our presentations. We have teamed up again with El-Gin, Caorunn and Rock Rose Gin producers and delighted to have Inchriach joining us this year. We have plans to mix it up a little to show off the products potential.

Located in VIP area on Saturday 29th July at 2.45 p.m.

Tickets priced £20 (subject to agent booking fee), keep watching for release details.

Glen Moray Tasting

Emma from Glen Moray will take you on a Glen Moray Whisky journey.

This year guests will be treated to a “ploughmans” type food tasting carefully selected to accompany each whisky. Located in VIP area on Saturday 29th July at 12.45 p.m.

Tickets priced £15 (subject to agent booking fee),  keep watching for release details.

Speyfest Cookery Sessions

Oakwood Cookery School will host hands on cookery sessions on Saturday 29th July. Our chef Amanda Green will demonstrate how to make Mexican Salmon Taco’s, then it’s over to you to prepare your own takeaway from the freshly prepared ingredients.
